SCOR announces winner of Best Young Researcher in Finance and Insurance

Global reinsurance company SCOR recently announced that Paris-Dauphine
University professor Dylan Possamï has won the Award for Best Young Researcher
in Finance and Insurance, sponsored by the SCOR Foundation for Science.

“There have been significant developments in risk and risk quantification
research in recent years, to which Dylan Possamaï, a young researcher in
finance, has made a noteworthy contribution,” said Chairman of the SCOR Foundation for Science
and the European Institute of Finance André Levy-Lang. “The SCOR
Foundation for Science is very happy to single this contribution out.”

The award was
presented at the European Institute of Finance’s 10th International Forum on Financial Risks. Possamaï earned the honor for his work on
risk and its quantification. Paris-Dauphine

Jouini, who is a member of the Institut Universitaire de France, chaired the
selection jury.

“I am delighted that the SCOR group and its Foundation for Science are
supporting scientific risk research and encouraging an increasing number of
talented young people to devote their academic work to advancing our knowledge
in this area,” said SCOR Chairman and CEO Denis Kessler.
