National Farmers issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.

1st quarter top may be near $128-130/cwt. 2nd and 3rd quarter cattle may be at hedging levels.

— Winter storms helped support cattle futures last week.

— Steer weights are on the rise, 912 lbs last week vs 908 lbs the prior week, 900 lbs the 5-year average.

— Seasonals are negative until December 11th
