GREENSTONE FARM CREDIT SERVICES: New Technology and Market Insights Highlight Greenstone Producer Forums

GreenStone Farm Credit Services recently issued the following announcement on July 20.

East Lansing – Experts in agriculture commodities and labor management as well as new dairy technologies will present their latest information at a two producer forums on August 7 at the Franklin Inn in Bad Axe and August 15 at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville.

Hosted by GreenStone Farm Credit Services, the day-long information session will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude with a question and answer period at 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The event is open to all producers with no charge to attend. However, registration is required for an accurate meal count.

Topics on the agenda include:

•Crop insurance:  Precision planting and automated acreage reporting 

•Ag Commodity Marketing 

•Succession Planning 

•Labor Procurement and Management 

•Dairy Technology and Robotic Milking

“We are offering these forums as a way to provide the information our customers are looking for to enhance and sustain their businesses,” say Ben Mahlich, VP of Crop Insurance at GreenStone Farm Credit Services. “We invite producers to attend the forum most convenient to them. We will host an additional forum in Mt Pleasant in December.”
