Farm Credit Services of America issued the following announcement on May 10.

Military veterans now qualify for the same crop insurance benefits as young and beginning producers under Risk Management Agency Programs. To be qualified for benefits for the 2019 growing season, apply by June 1 or your crop county acreage reporting date, whichever is later. https://www.rma.usda.gov/en/Policy-and-Procedure/Bulletins-and-Memos/2019/MGR-19-010
