Chubb company Combined Insurance recently
donated $20,000 to the Fisher House Foundation, which allows military families
to stay close to loved ones during hospitalization by providing housing.

“We are so honored that Combined
Insurance continues to support our Fisher Houses across the nation,” said
Fisher House Manager for the Miami VA Healthcare System Carolyn Soucy.
“Our mission of providing a network of homes for families of veterans is
made possible by the support of organizations like Combined Insurance.”

The donation comes after Combine
Insurance’s Latino Zone, covering Illinois, California, Texas, Arizona, Florida
and Puerto Rico, finished second place in the company’s Operation Veteran
GiveBack Program, letting them choose the Fisher House Foundation as the destination
of funds raised through the program. The Latino Zone group was able to donate
$10,000 to the organization’s VA North Texas Health Care System and the Miami
VA Healthcare System.

“We are honored to support our local
Miami Fisher House and the military families they serve,” said Latino Zone
Regional Director Miguel Cruz. “Our Latino agents and managers make this
program successful because of their commitment and dedication to supporting our
nation’s veterans giving back to their communities.”
