Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM)
recently opened a new 600-square-meter flavor creation and customer service
center in North Ryde, Sydney, in Australia, in keeping with the company’s
expanding presence in the area.

“We are growing our capabilities in the
Australia New Zealand region so we can offer customers the full capabilities of
our extensive flavors and specialty ingredients portfolio,” said ADM WILD
Flavors and Specialty Ingredients President Vince Macciocchi. “We are already
the go-to provider of flavors, ingredients and complete solutions for a wide
range of customers across ANZ; as we expand our capabilities, we look forward
to showing new customers why ADM is the best choice for their food and beverage
needs.”

The facility boasts two application
laboratories and a dedicated area for creating flavors targeting the
local market. It is capable of creating prototypes for beverage, dairy, bakery and sugar and chocolate confectionery products.

“We are tremendously excited about our new flavor creation and customer
innovation center, which will allow us to work even more closely with our
customers to serve all of their food and beverage solution needs,” said WILD
Flavors and Specialty Ingredients and Corn Managing Director for Australia and
New Zealand Bram van Hulsen. “In addition, this high-tech facility has
dedicated capabilities that will allow us to offer our customers unique
solutions that fit ANZ tastes and trends.”
