International Ag Insurance Solutions issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency Administrator Richard Fordyce reminded farmers this week of some critical upcoming deadlines for the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) and Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) programs. At the end of this month, farmers will be required to update yields for PLC payment calculations through 2023, and Fordyce said it’s a good time to update yields for those who elect ARC coverage, too. The process requires a visit to your local FSA office, where base acres and yields that contribute to program payments can be updated and certified. See more on the process and get started here.
