SCOR Global Life announces five employee promotions

Five employees at SCOR Global Life have been promoted. 

Brona Magee worked as SCOR’s deputy CEO-Americas and will now be the chief actuary. She will oversee risk management, pricing, reserving and valuation for the division. Magee is based in Dublin and is in charge of all Irish life operational entities. She has a Bachelor of Actuarial and Financial Studies from University College Dublin.

Brock Robbins, the former head of U.S. markets for SCOR will now take over the deputy CEO-Americas role vacated by Magee. He is responsible for the technical side of America business. This includes everything from finance to medical and legal underwriting. Robbins has an actuarial science degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

As a result of Robbins’ promotion, Tammy Kapeller will now be the head of U.S. markets. Before her promotion, she was the CEO-Americas. Now she will be in charge of all aspects of development and business growth in the United States. Kapeller has a degree in actuarial science from the University of Nebraska.

Sean Heartley will be the new chief operating officer for the American division of SCOR Global Life. He will be responsible for administration and claims processing in the Americas. This is a promotion from his previous post as head of human resources. Heartley earned a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance from the University of South Carolina.

Nicole Baird will be taking the place of Heartley as the new head of human resources in the Americas. She will be in charge of all HR business in the Americas. Baird has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pfeiffer University and a MBA from East Carolina University.

These promotions in the Americas confirm that our clients can count on a strong management team in this important region, where we have key market leadership positions.”
